In the name of Science!
Fortnite has now released its third chapter, and with the premier of Chapter 3 Season 1, players have a whole new map to experience.
Fortnite has evolved over the years, and if you played at all during Chapter 2, you're more than aware of some of the wacky features they can add.
One aspect that most of you are aware of is the weekly challenges and quests and this has further evolved into character specific challenges we can tackle.
We're going to run over how you'll be able to complete and unlock the quests for The Scientist!
How To Unlock The Scientist Quests and How To Complete Them
In order to begin the quest line for The Scientist, you're first going to need to Discover The Device around the Fortnite map.
Bascially, this is a little briefcase with a ton of information within it, so you're going to need to find it.
Below is a quick rundown of where you'll be able to find all of them!
- Within the Sanctuary
- North of Daily Bugle
- East of the Foundation Statue
- Just south of Condo Canyon
- South of Greasy Groove
- A bit southwest of Coney Crossroads
- North of Logjam Lumberyard
- North of Camp Cuddle
- East past the island near the Foundation Staute
Once you've found one of these devices, you're going to want to head over to The Joneses, as this is where you'll obtain the next part of your questline!
This will trigger an audio log and the next portion of the quest line is to Drop off Supplies in a Single Match.
This doesn't have to be done many times, as it only reuqires three drop offs to go on your ways to snag the next quest via The Launchpad.
Once here, talk to the NPC, and your next quest will require you to Destroy Signal Jammers around the map.
How To Destrory Signal Jammers In Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1
Upon first glance, this seems like it'll be a tricky mission, but in fact, they're all located on the The Launchpad island, so you really don't have to go far at all!
In order to destroy them, simply head over to one, and wack it a few times with your pickaxe, this should do the job.
Where To Place Surveillance Cameras in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1
Once you've destoyed all the Signal Jammers, you're then going to want to head over to the location of the next quest, and this can be obtained via Mighty Monument.
If you're wondering where this location is on the map, it's just south of the Daily Bugle, and you won't be able to miss it due to the towering statue of the Foundation.
Once you have the new quest, you're going to be task with placing some cameras around two different locations on Mighty Monument.
One is located along the backside of the monument, just outside of a bush/rock that can be seen in the above image.
While the other one is located just down south of the first one and it'll be placed within two palm trees.
Once yoou have this complete, an audio log will start playing and the quest line will be complete!
