S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 has long and been one of the most anticipated games to release this year, and the hardcore survival game could be one of the best titles to release this year.
However, if you haven't noticed, they've changed the name of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, and here's why!
Why Has S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Changed Its Name?
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 used to have the phrase Heart of Chernobyl at the tail-end of it, but ever since Russia invaded Ukraine towards the end of February, they've adjusted the name of the game to reflect on these times.
With so much turmoil and uncertainity going on between the two nations, the developers did not want to reflect their game onto a real-world city.
So, instead, the game is now going to be called S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, a subtle change to the title, but one that fan's will appreciate.
