Madden is the only true NFL style of game that fans have access to each year, and while they don't change much in each iteration, there's always some new content for fans to sink their teeth into.
The games most popular game mode, Madden Ultimate Team (MUT) has seen some new additons this year, however, the best way to begin your team early is to upgrade your Captain.
Here's how to upgrade your Captain within MUT.
Madden 23: How To Upgrade Your Captain In MUT
The Captain's are one of the first set of challenges you'll be able to complete within MUT, and doing so will unlock one of four players.
- Keyshawn Johnson
- Larry Csonka
- Sam Adams
- Eric Allen
These four players will all start at a base rating of 85 OVR, and upgrading them will improve their attributes and OVR.
Once you have one of these four players unlocked, you'll then want to follow the pocess listed below in order to upgrade them.
- Go to the Captain challenge list, and you should see one titled Milestones
- They'll be seperated into four tiers, and in order to acheive the higher tiers you'll need to collect stars
- These stars can be obtained by completing missions associated with your Captain
- Once you have enough stars, select your Captain and head over to the upgrades screen
- Use your Captain Upgrade Token to progress your player
